Dylan DeBusk was named to the Tusculum University football staff in August 2021 where he serves as a graduate assistant coach. He assists with all aspects of the program and will be serving as the assistant wide receiver coach for the Pioneers.
The 2020 Tusculum graduate was a two-sport athlete with the Pioneers where he was a member of both the TU football and basketball teams. He served as the team's starting special teams holder in 2019.
The Greeneville, Tennessee native played his prep career at Greeneville High School where he starred on Greene Devils' basketball and football teams. On the basketball floor, he earned All-Conference, All-District and District All-Tournament accolades.
He earned his sports science and business degree and was a member of the South Atlantic Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll and the Tusculum Athletic Director's Honor Roll. His father, Doug DeBusk, is a member of the Tusculum Sports Hall of Fame, lettering on the Pioneer basketball team and is the program's all-time leader with 735 assists. His uncle, Frankie DeBusk, served as Tusculum head football coach (1998-2015) and athletic director (2007-2015).
