ROCK HILL, S.C. --- Tusculum College junior attack Savannah Elliott has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week in women's lacrosse for the week ending February 19, the conference office announced Monday.

Elliott set a school and SAC record with 10 goals in the Pioneers' 19-13 win over Converse Thursday afternoon at Pioneer Field. Elliott scored on 10 of her 11 shots to break her own school single-game record of seven goals, and also set a school record and tied the conference mark with 12 points in the victory.

A junior from Oshawa, Ontario, Elliott leads the conference with 14 goals and 16 points through the Pioneers' first two games of the season. She needs three points to become the fourth player in program history to reach 100 career points, while her 86 career goals are third-most in program history.

The Pioneers (2-0) will host Virginia-Wise on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Pioneer Field.
