Kelsey Crow selected as SAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. --- Tusculum senior attacker Kelsey Crow has been selected as the South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the week, announced today by the league office. It is her first SAC offensive award this season, and second weekly honor.

Crow tallied 13 points on 12 goals and one assist to help lead TC to a 2-1 record last week. She scored five goals and posted two draw controls in the Pioneers' 12-7 victory at Shorter on Tuesday. The Franklin, Tennessee native also registered three goals against Southeast Region perennial power Tampa on Thursday, before scoring four goals and an assisting on another score in Tusculum's 15-7 SAC win at Newberry on Saturday.

Crow also helped the Pioneer defensive effort with four ground balls and two caused turnovers in the three games. 12 of her 21 total shots on goal found the back of the cage for a 57.1 shooting percentage and her first goal against Newberry was the game-winner.

Crow leads the SAC and ranks fourth in all of NCAA Division II with 31 goals this season. She is also tied with teammate Cheyenne Bray for first in the conference in points with 36, which is ninth-best in the country. Crow also has a league-high 50 shots for a shooting percentage of .620 and has a total of 15 ground balls, eight draw controls and seven caused turnovers.

Crow and the rest of the Pioneers will be back in action on Wednesday afternoon when they head to Harrogate, Tennessee to face Lincoln Memorial University. First draw is set for 4 p.m.
