Jasmyn Patterson joined the Tusculum women's basketball program as a graduate assistant coach for the 2022-23 season.

Patterson has had coaching experience at the club and collegiate level, most recently as an assistant coach at Orange County Community College in Middletown, New York during the 2021-22 season. At SUNY Orange, Patterson was involved in recruiting, practice planning, strength and conditioning, scouting, academic process and skill development, along with video editing and breakdown.

A Middletown native, Patterson earned an associate of arts degree in exercise science at SUNY Orange in 2018. She then attended Coker University, where she interned with the women's basketball program during the 2019-20 season. At Coker, Patterson assisted the staff with program operations and practice planning, and monitored academic progress of student-athletes.

Patterson, who was a second-team All-Mid-Hudson Conference selection in 2015-16 at SUNY Orange, played 13 career games at Coker and collected seven points and four rebounds.

Patterson was a player development coach at GymRatz Performance in Goshen, New York for nearly 18 months, where she recruited players and served as head coach of the Lady Ratz 17U AAU team. She also assisted players and families with the process of transitioning from high school to college basketball.

Patterson earned a bachelor of arts degree in physical education/exercise science from Coker in May, 2020 and is pursuing a master of arts in sport administration from Tusculum.
