HIGH POINT, N.C. --- Tusculum's Jasmine Gunn has been named to the 2008-09 Daktronics All-Southeast Region Women's Basketball Second Team, announced College officials Tuesday.
Gunn, a two-time All-South Atlantic Conference First Team honoree, has put together an impressive season to follow her SAC Freshman of the Year campaign of last year, leading the Pioneers in points (15.3), assists (5.9), steals (2.0), free throw percentage (82.5), and 20-point games (9). The 5-0 guard has emerged as the perennial point guard in the conference the past two seasons, owning the second-highest assist average in the league which is also 11th-best in the nation.
