Wilkson connected on a solo homer in each game, while Holli Cadenhead went 4-for-7, including a pair triples in the Tusculum debut for new Pioneer head coach Fred Gillum.

Tusculum pitcher Megan DuBois went the distance in the first game as she allowed two runs, six hits, a walk and seven strikeouts.

In the second game, Tusculum got two-hit performances by Cadenhead, Wilkison and Fernandez as the Pioneers finished with a dozen hits.

Tusculum (2-0) returns to action on Friday when it travels to Brevard College for a doubleheader.
