Nathan Matsuguma is the Tusculum men's and women's tennis graduate assistant coach for the 2025-26 season, after a three-year career with the Pioneers.
Matsuguma was 37-31 in three seasons with the Pioneers (2022-23, 2025), reaching double figures in singles all three years. As a freshman, Matsuguma was 11-11 in singles and followed up with a 14-12 singles mark in his sophomore season of 2023. After one year at Division I Lindenwood, Matsuguma returned for the 2025 campaign and had a 12-8 mark in singles and a stellar 18-4 record in doubles. For his career, Matsuguma had a 35-21 doubles record with the Pioneers.
A native of Tokyo, Japan, Matsuguma graduated cum laude from Tusculum in the spring of 2025 with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. He is pursuing an MBA from Tusculum.
