PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. --- The Tusculum University men's golf team is in sixth place following day one action of the 2026 Spring Bulldog Clash, hosted by Barton College. The two-day, 54-hole tournament is being held at the par-70, 6,317-yard Caledonia Golf & Fish Club.

The Pioneers completed their two rounds with a 36-hole score of 293-292=585.

Lenoir-Rhyne has the 36-hole lead at 578 and has a one-shot lead over second place King (579). USC Aiken is third with 580, followed by Erskine (582), Coker (583), Tusculum (585), Newberry (586), Barton (586), Arkansas-Fort Smith (589) and a two-way tie 10^th between Southern Wesleyan (591) and Chowan (591).

Union (Tenn.) is 12^th with 593, followed by Rogers State (598), Cedarville (598), East Central (599), Belmont Abbey (603), North Greenville (604), Fayetteville State (612), Ferrum (614) and Montana State-Billings (617).

The Tusculum trio of Joe Stevenson, Buster O'Callaghan and Gavin Sells are tied for 16^th place with a two-round score of 146 (+6). Stevenson opened with a 75 and followed with a 71. O'Callaghan posted an even-par 70 to start his tournament and tallied a 76 at the end of the day on Monday. Sells posted back-to-back rounds of 73 for his 146.

George Evans is tied for 27th place with 77-72=149 (+9) and Marinus Jeebe is 67^th with 75-77=152 (+12).

The final 18 holes will be contested on Tuesday.
