Wisly Desire joined the Tusculum football coaching staff in the Summer 2021. He serves as the offensive line coach as well as the run game coordinator.
He previously worked at NCAA FBS Florida International University where he served two seasons on Coach Butch Davis' staff. While at the Miami, Florida school he worked with the Panthers' offensive front. In his first season, FIU went 6-7 including a 30-24 upset victory over cross-town foe Miami Hurricanes. The Panthers also earned a bid to the Camellia Bowl.
The Jacksonville, Florida native coached from 2015-2019 at Monroe College where he served as offensive line coach and run game coordinator. While at the New Rochelle, New York school, he served as academic advisor and placement coordinator for the Mustangs. His coaching career also includes a stint at Lock Haven University from 2013-2014 where he assisted the offensive line his first year, before moving over to coach the tight ends.
Coach Desire played collegiately at Jackonsville University from 2009-2013 where he helped lead the Dolpins a No. 22 national ranking in 2010 as JU boasted one of the top offensive teams in the nation.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Jacksonville in 2013 with a bachelor's in sport management. He later earned his master's in sport administration degree from Lock Haven in 2014.
