INDIANAPOLIS --- The Tusculum Pioneers are ranked in nine team categories with the release of this week's NCAA Division II football national statistics.

Tusculum has scored three defensive touchdowns this season which lead the South Atlantic Conference and are ranked seventh in the country.

TU has yet to throw an interception this season as the Pioneers are one of only four programs in the country to achieve that feat.

Tusculum is listed 28^th in punt return defense (4.47 ypr – 2^nd in SAC), 29^th in fewest turnovers lost (10 – 6^th in SAC), 31^st in rushing offense (196.8 ypg – 3^rd in SAC), 33^rd in passing yards per completion (14.08 – 4^th in SAC), 34^th in blocked kicks (3 – 2^nd in SAC), 49^th in first down defense (162 – 5^th in SAC) and 50^th in time of possession (30:53 – 4^th in SAC).

TU's Solomon Maosa has blocked two kicks this year, which has him in a three-way tie for first in the SAC and is seventh in NCAA II.

Rashad Watson continues to lead the conference in total tackles and solo tackles per game. He is averaging 10.0 stops per contest which are listed 13^th nationally. His 5.38 solo tackles per game average is up to 16^th-best in the nation.

Dayquan Diston is averaging 0.43 interceptions per game which leads the league and is 18^th in the country. DJ Dailey's 0.38 interceptions per game average is second in the SAC and 25^th in NCAA II.

Xavier Gunn moves back into first in the conference averaging 1.25 passes defended per game (16^th in NCAA II).

Dylan Horne is averaging 1.36 tackles for loss per contest, which is second in the conference and 30^th in Division II.

Tusculum will play its 2025 home finale this Saturday when they host Wingate for Senior Day. Kick-off is at 2 p.m. from Pioneer Field.
