Meagan "Liz" Carlson joined the Tusculum University Spirit Squad staff ahead of the 2025-26 season.
Carlson is a two-time graduate of Tusculum. She finished her bachelors in mathematics (7-12) with a management minor in 2015, with her MBA coming the following winter. During her time on campus, Carlson was a five-year member of the cheerleading squad, including three years as a captain.
Carlson is entering her 11th year as a math teacher and head cheerleading coach at Chuckey-Doak High School. She has volunteered numerous hours around the community, aiding with Make A Wish 5Ks, Tusculum's Pack the Park, Greene Goes Pink 5K, Doak Elementary and Chuckey-Doak Middle School cheerleading, Tusculum's Spirit Squad, Gift for Kids, Jogging for Jess 5K, Towering Oak Fall Festival, and Hurricane Helene supplies.
