DUE WEST, S.C. --- The Tusculum University women's beach volleyball team finished out its regular season schedule with a pair of conference wins over Wingate and Catawba on Saturday (Apr. 4).

Tusculum (9-18, 6-4 SACC) hosts the conference tournament next weekend (Apr. 10-11) at the Greeneville Beach Complex. The bracket announcement is forthcoming from the South Atlantic Conference.

Match 1: Tusculum 4, Wingate 1
The Pioneers are now 6-1 against the Bulldogs all-time, with the lone loss being earlier this season in a non-conference setting.

Sylvia Liszewski and Brynn Smith pulled off a reverse sweep in the No. 2 slot by scores of 17-21, 21-16, 15-13.

The top flight of Hannah Marsh and Sofia Vega Barrantes took down their opposition by a 21-17, 21-14 result.

Siri Aasgard and Ally Doty dominated their 4's matchup by a 21-16, 21-14 margin.

At No. 5, Sofia Richmond and Ryann Gallagher nearly doubled up their Bulldog foes by scores of 21-14, 21-12.

The lone win for Wingate came at the third flight. Tusculum's Cooper George and Dasha Nikolaeva fell 21-17, 21-19.

Match 2: Tusculum 3, Catawba 2
The Pioneers won the middle flights to finish out the regular season sweep of the Catawba Indians.

Smith and Liszewski gutted out their second three-set battle of the day, taking the No. 2 matchup by scores of 22-20, 19-21, 15-9.

Jordyn Anderson and Solene Roussel returned to the lineup at No. 3 to win in straight sets: 21-16, 21-17.

Doty and Aasgard pulled out a reverse sweep at the 4's in a 20-22, 21-17, 20-18 finish.

The Indians won the top flight over Marsh and Vega Barrantes by a 21-16, 11-21, 15-12 decision and the No. 5 flight against Richmond and Gallagher by identical 21-15, 21-15 results.
