Devin Underhill has been a member of the Tusculum University athletic training staff since the summer of 2017. As an assistant athletic trainer, she is responsible for the medical treatment, care and injury rehabilitation for the sports of men's soccer and baseball.
In her first year with the Pioneers, she also served as the assistant trainer for the Tusculum women's basketball program and men's and women's tennis teams.
Underhill came to Tusculum from Bluffton University where she worked as a graduate assistant trainer in the universities sports medicine department. While at the Bluffton, Ohio school, she served the athletic training needs for the sports of men's and women's soccer, and softball.
During the 2014-2015 academic year, she was on the staff at Hillsdale College in Michigan where she worked as an assistant athletic trainer. She worked with Hillsdale's women's basketball program, along with softball, women's tennis and track & field. She also provided intramural sports coverage for men's and women's soccer. Also while in Michigan, she served as the head athletic trainer at Hillsdale High School.
She earned her undergraduate degree from Albion College in 2014 while majoring in athletic training with a minor in psychology. While at the Albion, Michigan school she was a member of the Dean's List and was a recipient of the Briton Scholarship. She later earned her master's degree in business administration with a concentration in health and sport management from Bluffton University in 2017.
She has been a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association since 2011.
