Jourdan Sanders was named to the Tusculum University women's basketball coaching staff in August 2018. He serves as a graduate assistant coach and assists with all aspects of the Pioneer program.
Sanders played his collegiate career at St. Andrews University in Laurinburg, North Carolina where he was a four-year letterman on the Knights men's basketball team from 2015-2018.
In his 49-game career, he totaled 217 points, 90 assists, 74 rebounds, 35 steals and three blocked shots. He was a two-year starter and served as team captain as a senior.
He played his prep career at Neuse Charter School where he was a two-time All-Conference selectoin and was named his team's most valuable player in 2013. He was named to the Honor Roll as a freshman and sophomore and earned spots on the Principal's List in his junior and senior campaigns.
Sanders graduated from St. Andrews in 2018 while majoring in sports and recreational studies. He has served as a residential assistant for two years and has been a YMCA Camp Counselor in Grand Prairie, Texas. While at St. Andrews he also worked as a student-assistant within the athletic department. He was a member of the Dean's List and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
