2009: Made 16 appearances out of the bullpen where he posted three saves and a 2.96 ERA to go along with a 2-0 record... Recorded a his first collegiate win at North Greenville (Feb. 17) where he tossed a pair of innings in a 7-5 win... Followed in his next appearance with his first collegiate save against Mars Hill (Feb. 21)... Pitched four shutout relief innings in NCAA Regional opener against No. 7 Francis Marion (May 14), where he allowed only two hits and posted a strikeout... Tallied saves against Mars Hill, Wingate (Mar. 15) and Limestone (Mar. 26)... In the save against Limestone, Franklin pitched three innings of one-hit baseball... His save against Wingate was also a three-inning save, scattering three hits, allowed a run and struck out one.
