TUSCULUM LISTED IN NCAA WOMEN'S SOCCER STATISTICSOctober 8, 2008INDIANAPOLIS – The Tusculum College women’s soccer team is ranked among the national leaders in this week’s edition of the NCAA Division II women’s soccer national statistics announced NCAA officials Tuesday.
Tusculum enters the week ranked 12th in scoring offense, averaging 3.27 goals per match through 11 matches despite a pair of hard fought losses in SAC play last week.
Senior forward Danielle Tanner is once again ranked among the national leaders in several categories , entering the week tied for 15th with 28 points and is ranked 17th with 2.55 points per match. The Toronto, Ontario, Canada native is also ranked 18th in the nation with an average of 1.091 goals per match, and begins the week tied for 11th with 12 goals.
The Pioneers return to the pitch on Saturday when they travel to Misenheimer, N.C. for a match against Pfeiffer University at 4 p.m.
