Ranks seventh with 15 goals, in top 25 in three other categories
INDIANAPOLIS --- Tusculum College junior forward Tramicka James has moved into the top 10 in total goals in the latest NCAA Division II Women's Soccer statistics, through games of Oct. 30.
James (Wilson, N.C.) has tallied 15 goals in the Pioneers' first 18 matches, ranking seventh in Division II in total goals and 14th in goals per game (0.833). James trails leader Ashley Alderin-Fleagle of Limestone (19 goals) in the national rankings and leads the South Atlantic Conference with her 15 goals.
James has amassed 34 points to rank 12th in the rankings, while her 1.89 points per game rank 22nd in Division II. Alderin-Fleagle also leads the nation in total points with 43, while Carmen Van Winkle of Oakland City is the leader in both goals per game (1.286) and points per game (2.71).
The third player in Tusculum program history to reach 100 career points, James concluded the regular season with 43 goals and 16 assists for 102 points in her three-year career with the Pioneers.
The Pioneers (10-7-1 overall, 5-4-0 South Atlantic Conference) are the fifth seed in the Food Lion SAC Tournament and will travel to fourth-seeded Anderson University for a quarterfinal game Tuesday at 1 p.m.
