Williams, James rank among NCAA Division II stat leaders

Pioneers appear through latest NCAA report

INDIANAPOLIS --- The Tusculum College women's soccer team is included in the weekly NCAA Division II statistical report, through games of Sept. 25, the NCAA announced Tuesday.

Freshman goalkeeper Marissa Williams is ranked 18th in total saves with 54 and 35th in save percentage at .857, and junior forward Tramicka James is ranked in four categories: points per game (23rd, 2.14), total points (27th, 15), total goals (28th, six) and goals per game (29th, 0.857).

As a team, the Pioneers are 49th in scoring offense at 2.14 goals per game, trailing Northern Kentucky which leads Division II with 4.75 goals per game.

Tusculum (4-3-0) returns to action on Wednesday, hosting Brevard at 5 p.m. at Pioneer Field in the Pioneers' South Atlantic Conference opener.
