Tusculum ranked among NCAA Division II stat leaders

INDIANAPOLIS --- Tusculum College freshman goalkeeper
Marissa Williams is ranked second in NCAA Division II in total saves in the latest women's soccer statistical rankings through Sept. 18, the NCAA announced Tuesday.
Williams has made 53 saves through the Pioneers' first six matches, trailing only Stephanie Bodamer of Southern Indiana who has recorded 56 stops. The freshman from Canton, Mich. also ranks 29th in save percentage at .869.
Joining Williams in the national rankings is junior forward
Tramicka James, who is 26th in total goals (five) and 42nd in goals per game at 0.83.
Tusculum (3-3-0) returns to action on Wednesday, hosting Concord at 5 p.m. at Pioneer Field.
